Walking the Beauty
---..of Northumberland

How to book

When you phone, we will ask you for your address, a contact telephone number, an email address, your choice of walk and the date.

We will tell you if there is a space(s) available, the total cost, where to meet for the start of the walk and a time to be there. If you have any other questions, then please do ask.

Every Footsteps walk starts and ends at an easy to find location such as a car park, beside a village church or an information centre. You must make your own way to the start where we will meet you, make you welcome and be with you for the whole of the walk.

Please if you choose to do so, let us know of any medical condition that you feel may be relevant to your ability to complete the walk. All such information will be treated in strict confidence.

If you have a particular interest such as the wildlife, flowers and trees, the cultural landscape or the way in which agriculture has changed the countryside, then please let me know and I will do my best to answer any questions that you may have.

We are flexible in our approach to our walks programme and happy to adapt to go where you want to go walking on a particular day. So, if you want to go walking in the National Park and the programme says we are on the coast on that day, then get in touch anyway, discuss it with us and we'll see what we can do.

There is no need to rush, we will always walk at a pace that suits everyone in the group, …after all this is a walk not a trek!

Group size

A family group is 2 adults and up to 3 children under the age of 16. Additional children between 12 yrs and 16 yrs pay half the standard child rate. In a family group, children under 12 yrs walk with us FREE of charge. Group rates are available on request.
